HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sarah Larson is speaking out for the first time since her split from George Clooney, confessing the couple’s one-year relationship was well worth the ride.
“George is a great guy, a wonderful person,” the 29-year-old model tells Britain’s Hello! magazine. “I don’t regret spending time with him … he’s a great person to get to know.”
The former “Fear Factor” contestant, who met Clooney while waitressing in a Las Vegas cocktail bar, says the two have remained close since their relationship ended in May.
“We still remain friends and have kept in touch,” she reveals. “In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago.”
As for what she misses most about the 47-year-old actor, Larson had a surprising answer about one of Hollywood’ most notorious bachelors.
“Most people know George has a great sense of humour and is an adept storyteller, but I will always miss his extraordinary dance moves,” she admits.
The couple was once rumored to be heading down the aisle, but Larson confirms, “We were never engaged.”
Next up for Larson is a continued focus on her career, in which she admits to having “doors that have opened” in recent time.
“I make good money. I have a house. I have all the things I’ve always wanted. I’m in a good place,” she says.
“I’ve had some amazing offers come in, including one modeling campaign that may bring me to England soon,” Larson continues. “I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not a done deal. I hope it happens because I’ve never been to England and I’d love to spend some time there.”
The chance to spend some time quality time in England could be a bonus in other ways as well.
“If I do end up there I could find a nice British boy,” she says. “I’d be open to the idea. I hear they have a good sense of humor.”
