HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — After months of grueling workouts, Sherri Shepherd fulfilled her promise of taking the stage in a bathing suit on Thursday's "The View."
Entering as "I'm Every Woman" played in the background, Shepherd showed off her new look as the crowd roared in approval.
"I feel really great," she said. "I just wanted to show people that you don't have to do anything crazy. You just have to make some choices and exercise and the weight will drop off. I hope some folks were inspired."
Shepherd did not reveal how many pounds she lost, but said she took off 5 inches from her waist and 10 inches overall.
The talk-show host whipped her body into shape for the bathing suit debut with the help of fitness trainer Don Scott, nutritionist Dr. Ro, endocrinologist Dr. Donovan and stylist Fran Taylor.
In June, Shepherd referred to Scott as the "evil one" as she dicussed her training with People.
"He's making me eat salad with extra virgin olive oil," she said. "That's the closest to being a virgin I'm ever going to get."
