TAMPA, Fla. — Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is at a loss after he collapsed on stage during a show Thursday night in Tampa, Fla.
"For those that saw me fall last night during Bullet, that wasn't a stage move or clumsiness, that was me blacking out and wiping out," the 43-year-old rocker wrote after the show on Twitter.
"I have no memory of falling against the drum riser and my guitar cabinet, but I can tell you I've got quite a good bruise + am moving slow," he added.
Despite the stage collapse, Corgan assured fans he'll be ready to rock when the band plays Friday night in Nashville, Tenn.
"I appreciate the attention but I'm totally fine," he wrote early Friday. "And Knoxville we will rock you tonight full tilt!"
