HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Despite several published reports, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did not get married in New Orleans on Saturday, a person close to the couple tells UsMagazine.com.
"Bottom line, they aren't even in New Orleans," the source tells Us.
The couple was in New Orleans two weeks ago when Pitt launched his Make It Right project, which will aid efforts to rebuild the city's Lower Ninth Ward. But the source says the marriage claims are "complete and total bulls--t."
Jolie, 32, and Pitt, 44, have been together since 2005. They have four children together and Jolie is currently expecting and due later this year. The actress has previously revealed her thoughts on walking down the aisle again.
"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together," she told Vogue in 2006. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing."
Pitt is currently shooting the film "Tree of Life," while Jolie's action flick, "Wanted," is due to hit theaters in June.
