HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Stevie Wonder could be adding another hit to his legendary career.
In an interview with Los Angeles station 104.3 MYFM, the 58-year-old singer confirmed rumors that he's in talks to join the cast of "Dancing With the Stars."
"It'd be fun," Wonder told radio disc jockey Valentine. "It's not impossible."
Wonder, who has been blind since infancy, signed with Motown Records at the age of 12. He said his talks are still very much in the early stages.
"Right now, it's just a thought," he said of joining the hit ABC reality show.
During the course of his distinguished music career, Wonder has racked up 26 Grammy Awards and recorded more than 30 top-ten hits, including such chart-toppers as "Superstition," "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" and "I Just Called to Say I Love You." While many of his hits have been ballads, Wonder told the host that there are plenty of dance moves to be had.
"Come on... If I have seven children, I've got to be able to dance right?" joked Wonder.
