HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Hollywood has itself the makings of another classic love triangle.
Country star Taylor Swift appears a bit suspicious with how quickly ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas found love again in the arms of actress Camilla Belle.
"They've been together since we broke up," Swift told Us Weekly at Wednesday's CMA Awards in Nashville. "That's why we broke up — because he met her."
The 19-year-old Jonas Brother met the 22-year-old Belle when she appeared in the group's "Lovebug" music video. A romance quickly blossomed and they began dating shortly thereafter.
Earlier this month, Swift spoke out about her October breakup with Jonas, telling E! Online that the young star broke the news over the phone in record time.
"Yeah, it's not fun — it was a 27-second phone call, yeah!" said Swift.
When asked Wednesday night how she's handling the heartbreak, Swift told Us Weekly that she "writes songs about it." She then warned future boyfriends to beware.
"I think they are starting to realize that if they are involved with me in any way, I will probably write a song about them," she said. "You know what, if they don't want me to write bad songs about them, they shouldn't do bad things."
