HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jimmy Fallon's desire for a "Saved by the Bell" reunion looks remote, thanks to Tiffani Thiessen's busy life.
In a new video for FunnyorDie.com, Thiessen opens up about why she can't get around to joining her fellow classmates, including Mario Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Elizabeth Berkley, for a get-together on Fallon's late-night show to celebrate "Saved by the Bell's" 20th anniversary.
"I'm on the set of my new live action cat comedy but I wanted to take a few moments to talk with you," Thiessen says. "Not only am I directing, producing and doing all the voices for the live action cat comedy, I'm also working with NASA on a new fuel cell for the next space shuttle."
Thiessen also says her busy lifestyle includes fronting an Indigo Girls tribute band, spending time in Costa Rica on a marijuana experiment and sitting by her pool several times a week just looking hot.
"Would you ask Angelina Jolie to slow everything down just to have a reunion with the 'Girl, Interrupted' cast?" Thiessen wonders. "Can Sandy Bullock pause everything just to hang out with the cast of 'Speed' for a day? Would you ask Madeleine Albright to stop everything national security just to have dinner with the old Clinton administration? No!"
"So Jimmy, thanks for trying to organize a reunion, but can we connect in a couple of months?" she concludes. "Because like Oprah, Madonna and Queen Elizabeth, I've got a ton of stuff going on."
