In a statement posted Wednesday on his official Web site, the embattled 34-year-old golfer said he would speak to a "small group of friends, colleagues and close associates" at 11 a.m. EST at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Woods, however, will not be taking questions.
"Tiger plans to discuss his past and his future, and he plans to apologize for his behavior," read the announcement. "While Tiger feels that what happened is fundamentally a matter between him and his wife, he also recognizes that he has hurt and let down a lot of other people who were close to him. He also let down his fans. He wants to begin the process of making amends, and that's what he's going to discuss."
Woods has been under the microscope ever since a single-car accident outside his Florida home on Nov. 27. The accident came shortly after the National Enquirer published a story alleging that he was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, a New York nightclub manager. After the first affair allegation, several more women stepped forward claiming to have engaged in sexual trysts with Woods, including former VH1 Tool Academy contestant Jaimee Grubbs and porn star Holly Sampson.
Woods later admitted to cheating on his wife, while also announcing plans to put his golf career on an indefinite hold in order to focus on his family.
"I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children," he said in December. "I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness. It may not be possible to repair the damage I've done, but I want to do my best to try."
Earlier today, Wood surfaced for the first time publicly since the November accident. The PGA star was photographed jogging near his Florida home. He reportedly check out of a Mississippi sex rehab clinic on Feb. 5.

According to the celebrity gossip site, Woods boarded a plane with his wife Elin on Friday after completing his stint at the Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss. The site claims the couple is "planning on spending some time alone as they attempt to repair their marriage."

There has been speculation that Woods may resurrect his career later this month at the Accenture Match Play Championship, which begins play on Feb. 17.
"We don't know anything official yet, but wouldn't that be nice?" Wade Dunagan, executive director of the Arizona event, told the Arizona Daily Star. "The main question is, 'Do I know anything you don't?' The answer is no. We're still in the dark. I can't confirm or deny anything, because I don't know."

Trope, 82, has been described as a hard-nosed negotiator willing to go to extremes for anyone who can afford his high-priced services.
"There is just one Sorrell Trope," Manhattan-based divorce attorney Robert Wallack tells the New York Daily News.
"He's in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases," added Beverly Hills family law arbitrator Alexandra Leichter.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — During the midst of her alleged affair with Tiger Woods, New Yorker Cori Rist said she was pretty certain that she wasn't the only one sleeping with the PGA star.
"I would wake up sometimes in the night in hotels with him and hear him text messaging," said the 31-year-old Rist in her first major interview on Monday's Today Show. "I'd lay there and realized he would be having a conversation, so I suspected there were others."
"I don't know how he had the time to have so many women in his life," she added.
