HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tom Cavanagh has become a father for the third time.
The 45-year-old actor's wife, Maureen Grise, gave birth to a son on August 5, People confirmed on Monday.
The couple's new son, named James Joseph Cavanagh, weighed in just shy of eight pounds and was 20 inches long.
The new arrival joins 3-year-old sister Alice Ann and 2-year-old brother Tomm.
Cavanagh and his wife, who works as a photo editor at Sports Illustrated, got married in Massachusetts in 2004.
Last month, the former "Ed" star told the mag that all of his baby preparations were under control.
"We're loaded up, we're ready," he said.
