HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tori Spelling and her mother, Candy Spelling, appear to have patched up their differences just in time for the holidays.
"We have been communicating," the family matriarch tells Us Weekly. "And we've taken it to a place that I'm very very pleased with."
The revelation comes after the elder Spelling unleashed on her daughter over the summer. In an open letter published on TMZ, she blasted Tori's use of her children as "reality show props," while also saying that she had no intention of becoming a part of her daughter's reality series, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
"A big party wasn't how I envisioned meeting my granddaughter for the first time; but, hey, this is Hollywood, and my grandchildren have become reality show props, too," she wrote at the time.
The pair have been mostly estranged ever since the death of family patriarch Aaron Spelling in 2006.
