HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tori Spelling says she would love to return to her old zip code.
The 34-year-old actress says she is currently in talks to appear on the CW's upcoming spinoff of "Beverly Hills, 90210," a series created by her late father, Aaron Spelling, and in which she starred in during the 1990s.
"It was always my dad's dream and intention to make a new '90210' before he passed, so I know he is proud and he would be even more proud if I were a part of it," Spelling tells People magazine.
Last week, Jennie Garth became the first star from the original series to sign on board for the contemporary spinoff. The 36-year-old actress will reprise her role of Kelly Taylor on a recurring basis, joining previously announced cast members that include Lori Loughlin, AnnaLynne McCord and Dustin Milligan.
Spelling, who portrayed Donna Martin on the teen soap, says she remains hopeful she can return to her West Beverly roots.
"I would love to see our characters Kelly and Donna together again and get the chance to work with my friend again," she said.
