HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Eddie Murphy's ex Tracey Edmonds may have found someone to nurse her broken heart — 50 Cent.
Rumors are abundant that the rap star was keeping the 40-year-old music and film executive warm last week at the Sundance Film Festival. The news follows a previous sighting in which Edmonds attended VitaminWater's private dinner for the 32-year-old 50 Cent on Jan. 19.
While many are saying that the duo have been practically inseparable, Edmonds' rep tells E! Online the only interaction they've had is a simple hello. "They are not dating," the rep says.
Meanwhile, Eddie seems to be rebounding just fine himself. The 46-year-old "Beverly Hills Cop" star was in Vegas over the weekend, where he attended the grand opening of The Bank nightclub at the Bellagio Hotel on Friday night. His "Axel Foley" impersonations apparently were a big hit with several female admirers, partygoers say.
Edmonds and Murphy had a wedding ceremony on New Year's Day, only to go their separate ways less than two weeks later. Because the ceremony took place in Bora Bora, their marriage was not official, making their exit plans much simpler.
