HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez made their first live TV appearance together on Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday night, where the newly engaged couple chatted about their wedding plans.
"Maybe in the spring we're thinking," Fedotowsky said of The Bachelorette couple's plans to tie the knot.
"My mom wants 700 people at the wedding," added Martinez when Kimmel joked about President Barack Obama getting an invite after he wasn't on the guest list for Chelsea Clinton's nuptials last weekend.
So when did Fedotowsky figure out that the former baseball player was "the one."
"We always had a really strong connection, from the first night that I gave him the first impression rose," she told Kimmel. "I always had a really strong feeling, but I just knew in the end all I wanted to do was see him."
The couple said they've secretly been together for about 20 days since Monday's finale was taped three months ago. Over that time, Martinez joked that he discovered his fiancé likes to "moisten" her popcorn.
"He's learning to love the little weird things about me," said Fedotowsky.
So can Fedotowsky and Martinez avoid the pitfalls of other failed Bachelor and Bachelorette couples?
"We have so much faith in our relationship," Fedotowsky said. "Every day we tell each other, you're my priority, we're gonna put each other first no matter what every single day."
