Video: Chris Brown Appears in Court for Alleged Rihanna Assault

LOS ANGELES — Chris Brown appeared in court Thursday to face felony charges for last month's alleged assault of his girlfriend, Rihanna.

During the short session at Los Angeles Superior Court, the 19-year-old Brown did not enter a plea to the two felony charges against him. Instead his attorney, Mark Geragos, was granted a continuace until April 6.

Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra, was also present and agreed to the time waiver.

Earlier in the day, Los Angeles prosecutors announced that Brown would be charged with two felonies in the case against him — assault and making criminal threats.
