HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Who knew Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz would become overnight sensations thanks to a trip to the altar!
The Minnesota couple, both 28, decided to put a little pizazz into their June 20 wedding day, so they choreographed a memorable entrance dance set to Chris Brown's "Forever."
The entrance began with the bridesmaids and groomsmen boogieing down the aisle. Heinz then followed by somersaulting his way to the altar before his bride strolled to the altar flashing her dance skills to the delight of the couple's friends and family.
The couple's wedding dance went viral soon after Heinz posted it on YouTube, with more than 1 million having watched the clip.
So who was the brain behind this unique wedding dance?
"It was [my idea]," Peterson told Matt Lauer during the couple's visit Friday to NBC's "Today Show." "I danced growing up and was a dancer through college and loved dance as a way to express yourself and share joy. So it was something I always thought about doing."
The couple and their wedding party will be under a bit more pressure when they perform the very same dance live on Saturday's "Today Show."
