HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sarah Palin and William Shatner delivered some dramatic laughs on Friday's Tonight Show.
Host Conan O'Brien invited the Star Trek star to do one of his signature periodic readings, this time from Palin's bestselling book Going Rogue.
The former Alaska governor then walked out in front of a surprised studio audience and performed her own dramatic reading — accompanied by bongos — from Shatner's autobiography, Up Till Now.
"I attended my first Star Trek convention in November, 1975," Palin began. "The money they offered me to attend this convention was—Do I dare? Yes, I do—out of this world."
"Good to finally see those two together, don't you think?" joked O'Brien.
