HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Betty White finally made it to Saturday Night Live!
The loveable actress drew rave reviews as host of last night's show, a gig she's turned down three times in the past. Her visit came about as a result of a Facebook campaign, which the 88-year-old White mocked in her opening monologue.
"When I was young we didn't have Facebook, we had phone book," she said, "but you wouldn't waste an afternoon with it."
White appeared in every sketch, including one in which she discussed her "salty muffins" on a public radio cooking show.
The special Mother's Day episode also reunited six former female SNL cast members, most of them moms: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
