HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The wait is over for Katy Perry fans.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old pop star premiered her "Teenage Dream" music video on MTV and VH1. The steamy clip, directed by Yoann Lemoine, was filmed in the singer's hometown of Santa Barbara, Calif.
In the video, Perry hits the California sunshine for a romantic adventure. Her love interest is played by actor Josh Kloss. She previously admitted the sexy scenes were a challenge considering she's engaged to British funnyman Russell Brand.
"I had to make out with a boy which was very traumatizing," she said. "I was kind of mean to him. I would be the one to call cut because I was like, 'Oh I cant do this!' I feel so horrible. But I know it's a job. We understand what our work is."
The song is the title track off Perry's forthcoming Teenage Dream album, which drops Aug. 24. The record's first single, "California Gurls," is already a smash hit.
