HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Whitney Port is following in the footsteps of her former Hills co-star Lauren Conrad by landing a book deal.
The 25-year-old reality star and fashion designer will pen an advice guide for It Books, People reports.
Port's book, which will be titled True Whit, is described as a "conversational, fun, and candid guide for girls looking to start out [in life] with style."
"Being a twenty-something can be a difficult phase," explains Port. "There are so many questions, and I wanted to write about my experiences for anyone who needs help navigating through life."
She adds, "It's a really fun and fresh how-to-guide where I can share anecdotes that I've learned from both work and my personal life."
The book is due out in 2011.
It Books was launched last year by publisher HarperCollins as a pop culture imprint dedicated to entertainment, music, fashion, design, and sports.
