HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Forget about Will Ferrell jumping off Team Coco anytime soon.
The 42-year-old funnyman says his late-night loyalty remains with close pal Conan O’Brien, whose brief Tonight Show run ended last month.
“My vote’s with Conan,” Ferrell said Friday during an interview on Omaha’s “Todd N Tyler Radio Empire” morning show.
So what will Ferrell do if Jay Leno asks him to be a guest when he assumes the Tonight Show reigns again?
“I may have a cold. I may have a sore throat,” he replied.
Last month, Ferrell helped O’Brien close out his final Tonight Show gig when he performed the familiar “Free Bird,” with a little help from Beck, ZZ Top, Ben Harper and Coco himself.
