NEW YORK — Jennifer Lopez is being sued by a flight attendant who claims she lost work after being bitten by the superstar's dog.
Lisa Wilson, 40, who worked for the private airline NetJets, filed the lawsuit Thursday in a Brooklyn Court. She alleges that Lopez's German shepherd attacked her during a flight in July 2006, according to the New York Daily News.
Lopez's pet was allowed into the passenger area, where it allegedly began "attacking her and biting her pant leg," according to court papers.
In her claim, Wilson says the alleged dog attack caused her to fall to the ground, which in turn injured her back. She says her injuries have kept her from working and she's suffered a "great economic loss."
Wilson claims she "twisted and fell" while trying to get away from the pooch, which resulted in a lower back injury. The injuries required surgery, she claims.
Wilson is hoping to take a bite out of Lopez's bank account by suing for $5 million, saying the Latino star "should have known the dog had vicious propensities."
The 38-year-old Lopez has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
