MIAMI, Fla. — Hollywood was front and center at Friday night's Major League baseball game between the San Diego Padres and Florida Marlins in Miami.
While the Marlins were busy defeating the Padres 6-4, Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson were hard at work. The two stars were on hand at Dolphin Stadium to shoot a few scenes for their upcoming film "Marley & Me."
In one scene, Aniston and Wilson are chasing down a dog in the stadium aisles. They surfaced again at the end of the eighth inning, this time in hot pursuit of a pooch in left field.
The filming took place fittingly enough on "Bark at the Park" night, where fans are permitted to bring their dogs along to the game.
None of the night's filming interrupted any parts of the game, although it did leave a few people curious.
"It's kind of weird to see a movie going on," Marlins left fielder Luis Gonzalez told MLB.com. "I didn't really know it was going to happen then. If I did, I probably would have run out there a little faster and jumped in front of Owen Wilson, and handed it off to her. That would have made me a real hero, right?
"I should have messed that whole scene up. What were they going to do, kick me off the field? I belonged there more than they did."
