HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — George Clooney is back on the market.
A source tells People magazine that the longtime bachelor has split with girlfriend Sarah Larson.
Clooney, 47, and Larson, 29, met while she was working as a cocktail waitress in Las Vegas. The couple have been dating for about a year.
Larson, who once won an episode of "Fear Factor" with her former boyfriend Dan Randolph, stepped out with Clooney for the first time at last fall's Venice and Deauville film festivals. Soon thereafter, the couple were involved in a well-publicized motorcycle accident in New York City.
Earlier this year, Larson made history when she became the first girlfriend the star has ever brought along to the Academy Awards.
Soon thereafter, engagement rumors began swirling following a report by Britain's Marie Claire that claimed Clooney had proposed. However, the claims made in the story were quickly dismissed as false rumors.
"There is no truth to any element of the story," Clooney's rep told Us Magazine of the engagement rumor.
