HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — It appears that not everyone wants a date with Paris Hilton.
Following Sunday's Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the heiress "aggressively tried to hook up with" John Mayer, 30, at the Sony BMG post-Grammy party, the New York Post reports. According to partygoers, the 26-year-old Hilton was "following him around and dancing, trying to get him to look at her."
"At one point, she sat at a table and tapped on the seat to motion him to sit next to her," a source says of Hilton's moves, or lack thereof.
"John politely sat for less than a second before ignoring her and moving to chat with a group of friend," the source added.
Hilton also didn't fare too well at the box office over the weekend. Her latest film, "The Hottie and the Nottie" was a bomb according to box-office figures, netting just $9,000 on 111 screens, Box Office Mojo reports.
