HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Heather Locklear may be sporting some new bling these days, but she's not heading down the altar — at least not yet.
The actress has been the subject of engagement rumors ever since she busted out a diamond sparkler on her ring finger last week. Locklear and her longtime boyfriend, actor Jack Wagner, were traveling back to Los Angeles from New York City when the ring set off a chain reaction.
"She is not engaged," Locklear's rep insisted Thursday to Us Weekly when asked about the rumors.
Locklear, 47, and Wagner, 49, have been dating 2007 and friends of the former "Melrose Place" costars call them the perfect match.
"She's in it for the long haul with Jack. Their friends know their future is together," one pal of the couple told People.
"They're having so much fun," the friend continued. "They just had a really fun trip to New York together, and they have plans for over the summer. They're just enjoying being together."
