HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kate Gosselin is spreading her television wings.
The star of TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" will be a guest host on ABC's "The View" on Sept. 14 and 15, the network announced.
Gosselin will be filling in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is currently out on maternity leave after giving birth to her third child, son Isaiah, earlier this month. Hasselbeck isn't due back on the hit chatfest until October. Other stars lined up as replacements to join Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd include Meghan McCain, the daughter of Sen. John McCain, and LaToya Jackson.
Gosselin appeared on "Larry King Live" Tuesday night, where she disclosed that dating is the furthest thing from her mind after she and her husband Jon announced plans to divorce in June.
"Too busy," she said when asked about being on the rebound. "I'm lonely, but I'm very busy and, actually, I'm all right."
