HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — 
Helio Castroneves is speeding towards another milestone — fatherhood!
The 34-year-old race car driver and his girlfriend Adriana Henao are expecting their first child — a girl — in January. The couple even has their daughter's name picked out already, having decided on Mikaella.
"We thought about calling her 'Indy,' but we thought that might be a little too much," Castroneves told the Indianapolis Star.
Castroneves said he found out about the pregnancy in May, two days prior to winning the pole for the Indianapolis 500 — a race he went on to capture for the third time.
The couple doesn't have any plans to get married yet, but Castroneves admitted that would be "the natural next step."
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant also confessed that it's been an emotional year for him after being acquitted of federal tax evasion charges in April.
"This year started very difficult, the middle was kind of a 'Wow!' and now this,'' he said. "This is a great ending for the book.''
