HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney are now engaged!
Mesnick proposed to Malaney last night while the couple was in the midst of a week-long vacation in New Zealand, People reports.
It is the second proposal for Mesnick this year after he famously changed his mind on The Bachelor by breaking his engagement to Melissa Rycroft to date Malaney, the runner-up on the ABC show.
The pair returned to New Zealand – where Jason first selected Melissa over Molly – so that "Jason can do what he should have done in the last time he was here, and ask Molly to marry him," a source close to the couple told the mag.
In July, Mesnick announced on Good Morning America that he and Malaney will "absolutely someday" get married.
"They are perfect for each other," a source tells American Superstar. "The beginning was tough, but everything worked out in the end."
