HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Her role may be short and sweet, but Miley Cyrus isn't complaining about the chance to appear in next year's Sex and the City movie sequel.
"It was the best job I've ever done," said the 16-year-old star on Ryan Seacrest's KISS-FM radio show Friday morning. "It was a total dream come true."
"It was awesome," she added. "I got a free trip to New York. I hung out in New York all day and then I got to go to the set. I literally shot for an hour-and-a-half, and it was done."
Cyrus appears as herself in the brief scene, which revolves around her wearing the same dress as Kim Cattrall's character at a movie premiere.
"Working with Kim was really cool," said Cyrus. "And Sarah Jessica Parker was the nicest person in the world."
The "Party in the U.S.A." singer is now turning her attention to her 17th birthday on Nov. 23, with plans to pay tribute to Dolly Parton.
"I want to rent out a cool place and play all Dolly Parton music and have everyone dress up as their favorite Dolly moment," she said of her birthday plans. "I am really excited about getting all my crew members to dress up as Dolly. That's probably going to be the funniest thing ever."
