PERTH, Australia — Heath Ledger's daughter Matilda Rose will inherit her late father's entire estate, according to Perth, Australia's Sunday Times.
Ledger, who died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs in January, signed a will in 2003, two years prior to his daughter's birth, in which he left his estate to his parents and three sisters.
However, the "Dark Knight" star's father, Kim, has decided that the estimated $20 million fortune should go to 2-year-old Matilda, Ledger's daughter with actress Michelle Williams.
"Our family has gifted everything to Matilda," he told the Times.
Kim and his wife, Ines, who live in Australia, recently spent two weeks in New York City, visiting with their granddaughter.
"It was lovely," he told People magazine of the trip. "There is no animosity [with Michelle] ... We are all just one family."
