HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Danica Patrick is speeding into a new venture, but it isn't called Formula One.
The race car driver has signed a worldwide licensing agreement with fragrance marketer SA Fragrances to launch her own perfume line, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Danica Patrick for Her will debut in mid-March in 750 stores across the country, with the perfume retailing between $29.50 for a purse-size vial and $54.50 for the 3.4 ounce bottle.
Patrick's fragrance will be promoted at NASCAR and Indy Racing events beginning in February. The launch will also be supported by an ad campaign in several prominent fashion and beauty magazines.
Patrick, 27, finished third at this year's Indianapolis 500. That eclipsed her historic fourth-place finish as a rookie in 2005 to better her mark for the highest finish by a woman in the event's storied history.
