HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Bachelor Jake Pavelka has confirmed circulating reports that model Rozlyn Papa is the contestant who allegedly had an affair with one of the show's producers.
Pavelka also confirms in an interview airing this evening on Entertainment Tonight that the staff member is no longer working on the ABC reality show, a revelation first made by Bachelor host Chris Harrison.
"It was incredibly unfortunate. Horrible decisions were made," admitted Harrison on Monday's Valentine in the Morning radio show. "This is something that we took very seriously and it's something that we couldn't just sit by."
Harrison also told host Sean Valentine that the contestant was kicked off the show.
"In fairness to Jake and for the other women, [we said], 'Let's nip this in the bud and take care of it.' And that's what we did," he said.
According to RadarOnline, Papa gets the boot on Monday's second episode, but the 28-year-old beauty has denied any wrongdoing.
"No, I did not have a sexual relationship with a producer on the show," she told Radar. "What they mean by inappropriate relationship is not what inappropriate relationship means in the real world."
Papa did confirm that she hit it off with the producer, but said the situation has been blown out of proportion.
"I had a relationship with someone on the show that didn't benefit them," she told the celebrity site. "We remained really close but we are not dating now."
"This is a TV show and it's made for entertainment, but it is a far cry from reality," added Papa. "I know that things on television weren't always as they seemed, but I had no idea the extent of the show manipulation."
