HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — When Ali Fedotowsky decided to leave The Bachelor after getting an ultimatum from her employer, she was confident Jake Pavelka might eventually track her down.
"One of the reasons it was OK for me to leave in the first place was because I thought if this is love and he really cares about me, then he is going to come and find me," she revealed Tuesday during an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. "He's a pilot, like fly to get me that would be amazing."
On Monday's episode, the 25-year-old advertising manager pleaded for a chance to return, telling Pavelka she made a huge mistake in leaving. But unlike last season of The Bachelorette, there would not be a happy ending this time around as Fedotowsky got shot down.
"I was pretty shocked," she told DeGeneres of not being able to return. "I thought we had something really great."
As for the two finalists, Fedotowsky is hopeful that Pavelka chooses her good friend Tenley Molzahn over Vienna Girardi. However, the San Francisco resident admits that she may have misread the woman she butted heads with repeatedly.
"Watching actually the connection that Vienna and Jake have, I didn't realize that was happening behind the scenes or when I wasn't around." she explained. "They look like a good couple. So, I actually think it could be Vienna."
As for rumors that she might be the next Bachelorette, Fedotowsky is open to the idea of running the show in the future.
"That would be so nice," she said. "I would be so flattered."
