HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Brooke Burke is heading back to Dancing With the Stars.
The 38-year-old TV personality will report for duty alongside Tom Bergeron as the show's new co-host, an announcement made Monday on ABC's Good Morning America.
"Today is one of the most exciting days ever!!! With the exception of my family and children, today tops the list of all my professional endeavors!!!" said Burke on her official Web site.
Burke won the mirror ball trophy in season 7 when she was paired with dancing pro Derek Hough. Her past television experience includes her breakout gig as host of E!'s popular Wild On! series. More recently, Burke hosted the CBS reality shows Rockstar: INXS and Rockstar: Supernova, as well TV Land's She's Got the Look.
Burke takes over for Samantha Harris, who stepped down from the show in January to focus on her other gigs.
Others who were rumored to be in the running for the vacant co-hosting job included Vanessa Minillo, Melissa Rycroft and Nancy O'Dell.
The 10th season of DWTS kicks off March 22 on ABC.
