CANNES, France — Lindsay Lohan is crying foul over a photo of her partying in Cannes with what appears to be cocaine inches away from her.
In the snapshot published by TMZ, the troubled star is seen alongside two friends as a mystery white powder sits nearby on a table. When asked about the photo hours after it was published, Lohan told RadarOnline, "That's a set up," without going into details. "That's so untrue."
Lohan, 23, later told Radar in an email that she didn’t know the white powder was on the table. She also provided the name of the person she believes set her up, but the celebrity site withheld that information.
The timing of the photo could not be any worse for Lohan, who missed her scheduled DUI progress report hearing yesterday in Los Angeles. The starlet has said she is currently stranded in France after having her passport stolen while attending the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.
The court absence led to an arrest warrant being issued for Lohan, although it was later lifted after she posted $100,000 bail.
The actress is due back in court on Monday, when the judge is expected to order her to abstain from alcohol, be fitted with an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, and be subject to random drug testing once a week.
