HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lily Allen is pregnant!
The British singer has confirmed that she's expecting her first baby with boyfriend Sam Cooper, a builder she's been dating since last summer.
"Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child," her rep said Thursday. "Lily's professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend."
In May, Allen took to Twitter to shoot down pregnancy rumors after tabloids suggested she was sporting a baby bump. However, the "Smile" singer has long expressed her desire to get pregnant.
"I know what commitment it takes to release an album," she once said during an Absolute Radio interview. "I don't think that mixes well with the idea of settling down and having children, which is ultimately my main goal in life and more of a priority than flying around the world jumping up and down on stage singing songs."
Allen's pregnancy news comes two years after she tragically miscarried a baby while dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.
