HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested Wednesday night in West Hollywood on drug charges.
According to the Associated Press, police stopped the couple on Sunset Boulevard when they smelled marijuana coming from T.I.'s vehicle.
T.I., 39, and Cottle, 36, were arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines. The twosome, who tied the knot in July, were released from jail hours later after posting $10,000 bail each.
The arrest comes just five months after the hip-hop star finished a prison stint on weapons charges. Under the terms of his probation, T.I. was ordered not to commit any crimes in federal, state or local jurisdictions. He was also barred from illegally possessing a controlled substance.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., is currently starring in the No. 1 movie at the box office, Takers.
