HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Britney Spears is being sued by a former nanny who claims the singer failed to pay her, TMZ reports.
Ferial Zaltash alleges she worked one month for Spears after being hired in September 2007 to serve as a personal assistant and nanny to the pop star's two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
The woman claims she is owed $35,202 for the month. She also alleges that her demands for payment have been ignored by Spears.
Zaltash is also asking for $19,940 in penalties for unpaid wages and overtime.
Spears, 28, has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
