We’ll be honest: We’re really tuning into the Golden Globes to hear Tina Fey and Amy Poehler crack hilarious jokes at Hollywood’s expense. But the fact that they give us great clothes to look at at the same time is the cherry on top of the super-sassy sundae.

The most surprising look for the stars? Probably the ones they finished out the night in: An Angelina Jolie-inspired tux with an undone sparkly bow tie for Fey and a plunging midnight blue gown with a butterfly motif for Poehler.

For their red carpet walk, Fey wore a custom Antonio Berardi tea-length dress in white with black paneling and sparkling adornments, including a silver Roger Vivier clutch. “Tina is perhaps the most colorful person I have ever met, so it just seemed right that her red carpet moment should be monochrome,” said Berardi in a statement. Her BFF Poehler sported cobalt Stella McCartney with glittering bracelets and an updo.

And for their hilarious monologue, Fey chose a gown that was nearly the inverse of her red carpet look — black and white and sparkling all over, plus some gorgeous bombshell waves. Poehler let her hair — and her neckline — down, choosing a purple plunging gown with plenty of edgy jewelry to go with.
