HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Toni Braxton is singing the blues again.
The 43-year-old R&B star has filed for bankruptcy a second time, listing her debt as ranging between $10 million and $50 million.
The Sept. 30 bankruptcy filing will allow Braxton to pay off tax debts, sell heavily indebted property in Atlanta and still care for her two sons, the Grammy winner's attorney, Debra Grassgreen, told the Associated Press.
The singer has assets worth up to $10 million, the filing stated.
Braxton has a history of financial problems. She previously filed for bankruptcy in 1998 and was hit with a $396,000 federal tax lien in March.
The "Breathe Again" singer claims her financial woes worsened when a heart condition forced her to cancel a series of Las Vegas shows in 2008.
