HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Tina Knowles is shooting down a tabloid report claiming her daughter Beyoncé is pregnant.
"No, no it’s not true. Not right now," the R&B star’s mother said of the pregnancy report when she appeared on Thursday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show.
She added, "With all the rumors, by now I should have five or six grandchildren."
On Wednesday, Us Weekly reported that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were expecting their first baby. The magazine said the "Single Ladies" singer was in her first trimester of the pregnancy.
When asked about the pregnancy claim earlier today, a spokesperson for the magazine told Reuters, "we stand by our reporting."
Beyoncé and Jay-Z tied the knot in a secretive New York wedding ceremony in in 2008.
