Nancy O'Dell to Replace Mary Hart on 'Entertainment Tonight'

Nancy O'Dell, Entertainment Tonight, pictures, picture, photos, photo, pics, pic, images, image, hot, sexy, latest, new, 2010HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Nancy O'Dell will replace Mary Hart on Entertainment Tonight, the show's executive producer announced Monday.

O'Dell, 44, will join Entertainment Tonight as a special correspondent and substitute co-anchor beginning in January 2011. She will assume the role of co-anchor after Hart ends her final season on the show next year.

Hart, who joined ET in 1982, announced her plans to leave the program back in August.

"I remember watching Entertainment Tonight when it first premiered and dreaming about working for the show someday!" said O'Dell, who left Access Hollywood in December 2009. "Needless to say, I am thrilled that my dream has come true. I have greatly admired the show and the incomparable and esteemed Mary Hart – her quiet power and professionalism are beyond admirable. I am honored to be the one chosen to fill a TV legend's seat."
