HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Eva Longoria is "devastated" by the sudden end of her three-year marriage to Tony Parker.
The Desperate Housewives star filed for divorce this week after she found out Parker had been flirting with Erin Barry, wife of his former San Antonio Spurs teammate Brent Barry.
"She is simply heartbroken," a close friend of the actress tells People. "She really wishes Tony the best. She just wants this whole situation to be as peaceful as it can be under the circumstances. He's a good person at heart, and she wants the best for him."
Longoria, 35, has been leaning on family and friends for support, including some of her ABC series co-stars.
"She has a group of girlfriends she's very close to that are helping her," the friend says. "She's also very close to her family. And the cast of Desperate Housewives have been wonderful, especially Marcia [Cross] and Felicity [Huffman], [who] are there for her through this."
