HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Kourtney Kardashian is breathing a sigh of relief after her 11-month-old son Mason was rushed to the hospital Friday night.
The child fell ill after having an allergic reaction to peanut butter, but he is now "doing fine," the reality star said Monday.
"He threw up within minutes of tasting it and got hives on his face," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star recalled on her blog. "I called 911 and the fire department came immediately. They suggested that we take him to the hospital, so we did."
Kardashian said she was extremely proud of her son throughout the ordeal.
"He was in good spirits the whole time and didn't even know anything was wrong," she said. "He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He's such a good boy!!"
She added, "I learned such a lesson with this…to always follow my instincts and call 911. Always better safe than sorry."
