HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Miley Cyrus is making headlines after getting a new tattoo.
The 18-year-old star showed off her fresh ink for the first time Wednesday when she ventured out in Los Angeles. The tattoo, located in her right rib cage area, is said to be a tribute to her four siblings – Brandi, 23, Trace, 21, Braison, 16, and Noah, 11.
"It's a picture of the dream catcher that hangs over her bed with four feathers to represent her four brothers and sisters," a pal tells People magazine. "The dream catcher is to protect them."
The Hannah Montana star is known to have at least five tattoos now, including the phrase "just breathe" under her left breast in honor of a friend who died of cystic fibrosis.
"All of Miley's tattoos have a deep meaning to her," her pal told the mag. "They all represent family and friends close to her."
