LONDON — Winona Ryder was hospitalized on Wednesday after becoming ill during a flight from Los Angeles to London, the star's rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.
The 37-year-old actress was taken to a London hospital shortly after her British Airways flight touched down.
"She felt better when she landed but as a pre-cautionary measure, they took her to the hospital," Ryder's rep told Access.
A British Airways spokesperson told Access that the plane's captain requested a priority landing for a sick passenger, however the airline would not confirm if that individual was Ryder.
According to Ryder's rep, the Oscar-nominated star is now "in good health."
"She was treated at the hospital for one hour and released," said the rep.
