HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Ellen DeGeneres and Britney Spears recently got into spirit of the season by spreading some cheer through a few holiday carols.
The segment, which will air on the Dec. 16 "Ellen DeGeneres Show," features the two stars belting out such tunes as "The Christmas Song (Chesnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)" and "Silent Night."
Spears, who released her sixth studio album, "Circus," earlier this month on her 27th birthday, even got a few pointers from the host.
"I had to keep teaching her about harmony," jokes DeGeneres.
