Born and raised in Pasadena, Calif., Sophia Bush developed a passion for performing during her teen years. After graduating from high school, Bush enrolled at the University of Southern California. She then made her big screen debut in the 2002 feature film "Van Wilder," starring as Sally, the freshman who seduces Van and doesn't know who Air Supply is.
In 2003, Bush garnered more attention with a recurring role as a bisexual teen on "Nip/Tuck." She then rose to stardom as Brooke Davis, the creator of the mega-successful clothing line "Clothes over Bros" on the hit CW drama "One Tree Hill."
Since making it big on "One Tree Hill," Bush has continued to appear on the big screen. Among her film credits are the 2003 independent film “Learning Curves,” the 2006 thriller "Stay Alive," opposite Frankie Muniz and Adam Goldberg, and the 2006 comedy "John Tucker Must Die," co-starring Jesse Metcalfe and Brittany Snow.
Bush also starred opposite Sean Bean in the 2007 remake of the classic horror film, "The Hitcher," a film that was produced by Michael Bay.
