LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Chris Brown has reportedly chosen Sin City as his hideaway while the ongoing investigation into his alleged assault of Rihanna continues.
A source tell E! News that the 19-year-old R&B star is currently staying in a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
"They had to kick out any paparazzi that were around and get him tons of security to sneak him in," said the source.
When asked if Brown was a guest at the hotel, a Hard Rock spokesman told E!: "We cannot confirm that Chris is staying with us. "However, several of his friends are staying on [the] property."
Brown was arrested Sunday evening on suspicion of making criminal threats against the 20-year-old Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
The couple had attended Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammy party on Saturday night before reportedly getting into an argument on the car ride home. They were sitting in Brown's rented Lamborghini in the city's Hancock Park neighborhood shortly after midnight when the alleged assault reportedly took place.
Brown is said to have "fled on foot" with the car keys in hand, leaving Rihanna behind to dial 911 for help, a source previously told E! News.
"Rihanna didn't want anyone to touch her, she was in so much pain," said the source.
A police source told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna's injuries included "bruises and a scratch on her face."
She was later treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to published reports.
Brown is currently free on $50,000 bail.
