HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — The Dave Matthews Band will kick off their annual summer concert tour on May 27 at the Darien Center in New York, the band announced Wednesday on their Web site.
The North American run will include stops in Boston, Tampa and San Francisco and is scheduled to end on Oct. 2 in Tulsa, Okla. There are rumors that the Boston stop, scheduled for the weekend of May 29-30, may take place at Fenway Park.
The band's summer concert dates follow a previously announced spring run, which kicks off April 14 at New York's Madison Square Garden.
The tour will be in support of the group's yet-to-be titled new studio album, which is slated for release by RCA records on June 2.
